🔒 Driver Exit & Client Protection Policy

🔐 Company Ownership of Client Data

All customer information—including names, phone numbers, email addresses, booking history, and payment details—is the exclusive property of Palmetto State Rides, LLC. Drivers may view limited client information only as needed to complete scheduled rides.

Drivers do not own, control, or have the right to remove or copy any client data outside the Company’s approved systems.

👥 Driver Goodwill & Portfolios

Drivers earn goodwill through service quality, referrals, and relationships. This goodwill forms the basis of each driver’s personal client portfolio. However, the underlying client data and booking rights are retained by the Company.

🚪 When a Driver Resigns or Becomes Inactive

  • Upon resignation, termination, or inactivity exceeding 90 consecutive days, driver system access will be disabled
  • The Company may review the driver’s active client portfolio and determine whether clients remain under that driver or are reassigned for continuity
  • Drivers leaving in good standing may request an internal sale or transfer of their goodwill portfolio under Company oversight

🚫 Non-Solicitation & Confidentiality

Drivers agree not to copy, export, or solicit PSR clients outside the Company system. Attempting to contact or divert clients after departure without Company approval is considered a breach of contract and confidentiality. Palmetto State Rides reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for violations.

👥 Driver Client Portfolio Policy

📌 Purpose

This policy defines how driver client relationships (“Client Portfolios”) are created, credited, substituted, and transferred within the PSR system.

📘 Definitions

  • Client Portfolio: Group of customers who have booked rides with a driver through that driver’s QR code, referral link, or assigned booking profile.
  • Primary Driver: The driver credited as the client’s main service provider for loyalty and referral purposes.
  • Temporary Coverage: When another driver completes a ride because the Primary Driver was unavailable.
  • Transfer: A Company-approved reassignment or sale of a Client Portfolio between drivers.

📊 Client Relationship Ownership

  • Each client is linked to a Primary Driver upon their first completed ride or referral
  • The Primary Driver retains portfolio credit unless the client requests reassignment, completes three or more consecutive rides with a different driver, or the original driver is inactive for 90+ days
  • Temporary coverage does not change client ownership; the servicing driver receives trip income only

📉 Portfolio Tracking & Review

  • Client portfolios are recorded and tracked through Company systems
  • The Company may conduct periodic reviews to verify loyalty patterns, performance, and portfolio accuracy
  • Drivers may request a portfolio summary via management

💼 Portfolio Transfer or Sale

  • Drivers may propose the sale or transfer of their client portfolio to another approved driver
  • All transfers require written Company approval before completion
  • The Company may charge an administrative fee (typically 5–10%) to process transfers

💰 Sale & Transfer Policy

💛 Charity of the Month Acknowledgment

🌟 How It Works

  • PSR donates $1 from every completed ride to the current Driver Charity of the Month
  • Totals are tallied monthly
  • A driver representative may assist in delivering or announcing donations

🧡 Driver Role

  • Represent the program positively when riders ask about it
  • Provide accurate information (donation is paid by PSR, not added to the rider’s fare)
  • Follow PSR brand and media guidelines if participating in photos or videos

This acknowledgment does not create any ownership interest in the donation funds. It simply confirms your understanding and support of PSR’s community mission.
