Demand Drop policy foundation

Customer Commitment Policy

What it means when a customer commits interest to a planned Drop.

Serious interest

A commitment means the customer is showing genuine, serious interest in the planned Drop and helping measure whether sufficient demand exists.

Not always a purchase

A commitment is not necessarily an immediate purchase or payment unless a future checkout flow is clearly enabled and the customer affirmatively completes it.

If demand is met

The Drop may move forward. The dropper must confirm timing, availability, fulfillment, event access, and any next steps.

If demand is not met

The Drop may expire or fail and should not move forward as proposed unless a new or revised Drop is clearly presented.

Review before committing

Customers should review the price or estimate, location or online status, deadline, pickup or event details, and fulfillment notes before committing.

Future Demand Credits

Demand Credits may be used later to validate commitments. Credits are not active unless a future release clearly enables them and publishes the applicable policy.
