Driver Client Portfolio Policy (for Drivers

Driver Client Portfolio Policy

Palmetto State Rides, LLC

Last Updated: October 2025

This Policy defines how driver client relationships (“Client Portfolios”) are created, credited, substituted, and transferred within the Palmetto State Rides system. It ensures transparency, fairness, and accountability between drivers while protecting the Company’s data and reputation.

1) Purpose

Palmetto State Rides, LLC allows approved independent contractors (“Drivers”) to build long-term client portfolios through completed rides, referrals, and loyalty. This system rewards professionalism and service consistency while maintaining Company oversight and customer data protection.

2) Definitions

  • Client Portfolio: The group of customers who have booked rides with a Driver through that Driver’s QR code, referral link, or assigned booking profile.
  • Primary Driver: The Driver credited as the customer’s main service provider for loyalty and referral purposes.
  • Temporary Coverage: When another approved Driver completes a ride for a client because the Primary Driver was unavailable.
  • Transfer: A Company-approved reassignment or sale of a Client Portfolio between Drivers.

3) Client Relationship Ownership

Each client is linked to a Primary Driver upon their first completed ride or referral. That driver retains portfolio credit for the client unless:

  • The client requests reassignment to another driver;
  • The client completes three or more consecutive rides with a different driver;
  • The original driver remains inactive for 90 or more consecutive days.

Temporary coverage does not change client ownership. The servicing driver receives trip income only, not portfolio credit.

4) Portfolio Tracking and Review

Client portfolios are recorded through the Company’s Limo Anywhere system. The Company conducts periodic reviews—monthly, quarterly, or semiannually—to verify client activity, loyalty shifts, and driver performance.

Drivers may request a portfolio summary or update through management at any time. Portfolio sizes and values are used only for internal tracking and approved transfers.

5) Portfolio Transfer or Sale

  • Drivers may propose the sale or transfer of their client portfolio to another approved driver.
  • All transfers must receive written Company approval prior to completion.
  • The Company may charge a small administrative fee (typically 5–10%) to process the transfer.
  • Transferred clients retain their booking history within the system; only the Primary Driver assignment changes.

6) Inactive or Departing Drivers

If a driver becomes inactive or leaves the Company, management will review their client list to determine which clients remain loyal to that driver and which should be reassigned. Clients may be redistributed to active drivers to maintain service continuity.

7) Privacy and Data Protection

Client data—including contact details, ride history, and payment information—remains the property of Palmetto State Rides, LLC. Drivers may not export, share, or copy client information outside the Company system. Any violation may result in termination and legal action under the Driver Exit & Client Protection Policy.

8) Dispute Resolution and Oversight

Palmetto State Rides reserves the right to mediate portfolio disputes, approve transfers, and modify this policy to ensure fairness and compliance with company standards. All decisions made by Company management regarding client assignments and portfolio ownership are final.

9) Transparency and Recognition

This policy exists to reward drivers for loyalty and professionalism while protecting the integrity of the Palmetto State Rides network. Drivers who maintain consistent service, strong client relationships, and positive reviews will see their portfolios grow in value over time.
