We focus on comfort, safety, and fair pay — with opportunities for Standard rides, XL & Van service, airport work, and premium tour packages.

1) Driver & Vehicle Requirements

General Standards

  • Vehicle model year 2019 or newer preferred.
  • Four doors and seats at least 4 passengers comfortably.
  • Clean, smoke-free, and presentable inside and out.
  • Working A/C, heat, seatbelts, power windows, and door locks.
  • Valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance.

Safety Equipment

  • Functioning headlights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, and wipers.
  • No active warning lights for brakes, engine, or airbags.
  • Spare tire or inflator kit and a phone charger available.
  • Active dashcam mounted and running on PSR trips (front view required; rear view preferred).

Not Allowed

  • Salvage or rebuilt titles, loud exhaust, or visible body damage.
  • Distracting aftermarket lighting or unsafe modifications.
  • Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle while on PSR trips.
  • Unapproved riders in the car while transporting PSR clients.

Professional Standards

  • Clean driving record and professional communication.
  • On-time reliability for scheduled rides.
  • Comfortable using navigation apps and following GPS routes.
  • Respectful, courteous treatment of every rider.

2) How Driver Pay Works

Most PSR rides use simple time-block pricing. Customers pay a flat rate based on the time block they choose. PSR takes a fixed fee — the rest goes to the driver.

Time-Block Rule: Driver payout = customer price – $15 PSR fee.

Blocks currently used: 15, 25, 35, 45, and 60 minutes. You are paid the full block even if the rider finishes early. Tips are optional and go 100% to the driver.

Standard Rides – Driver Payouts

  • 15 minutes — $15
  • 25 minutes — $25
  • 35 minutes — $40
  • 45 minutes — $45
  • 60 minutes — $60

XL Rides (SUV / Larger Vehicle) – Driver Payouts

  • 15 minutes — $30
  • 25 minutes — $40
  • 35 minutes — $55
  • 45 minutes — $60
  • 60 minutes — $75

Van Rides – Driver Payouts

  • 15 minutes — $25
  • 25 minutes — $35
  • 35 minutes — $50
  • 45 minutes — $55
  • 60 minutes — $70

XL and Van drivers are also prioritized for airport work, bar crawls, concert shuttles, and tour packages.

3) Airport Ride Driver Payouts

Airport rides use clearly posted flat payouts. These amounts are what you receive per completed trip.

Standard – Airport Payouts

  • GSP Airport — $30
  • Asheville (AVL) — $100
  • Charlotte (CLT) — $150
  • Atlanta (ATL) — $275
  • Clemson — $65

XL – Airport Payouts

  • GSP Airport — $40
  • Asheville (AVL) — $135
  • Charlotte (CLT) — $200
  • Atlanta (ATL) — $325
  • Clemson — $85

Van – Airport Payouts

  • GSP Airport — $35
  • Asheville (AVL) — $110
  • Charlotte (CLT) — $175
  • Atlanta (ATL) — $305
  • Clemson — $75

4) Tour & Special Event Opportunities

In addition to regular rides, select drivers will be offered tour and package work with premium flat payouts.

XL-Only Tours

  • Wine Tour: $535 driver payout
  • Scenic Tour: $460 driver payout
  • Restaurant 17 Experience: $220 driver payout
  • Biltmore Estates Tour: $500 driver payout

Van-Only Packages

  • Concert Shuttles: $500 driver payout
  • Bar Crawl Packages: $335 driver payout

Tour work is scheduled in advance and designed to provide higher, more predictable earnings for professional drivers. Not all drivers will qualify for tour work, but strong performance on regular rides is the first step.

5) Payouts & Stripe

PSR uses Stripe Connect to manage driver payouts securely. During onboarding, you’ll receive a secure Stripe link where you can:

  • Connect or update your bank account.
  • View payout history and upcoming deposits.
  • See available balance.
  • Download 1099 tax forms at year-end.

Payouts are processed regularly according to Stripe’s schedule. Exact timing can vary around weekends and bank holidays, but your Stripe dashboard will always show pending and completed payouts.
