Welcome to Palmetto State Rides, LLC (“PSR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a ride, using our website, or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1) General Overview

Palmetto State Rides is a scheduled private transportation service operating in South Carolina and surrounding areas. Bookings and dispatch are managed through our internal systems and approved partners.

You must provide accurate contact and payment information and be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent).

2) Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to driver availability and dispatch approval.
Payments are processed securely through third-party processors such as Stripe.
We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
A technology and processing fee may apply to completed rides.

3) Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations and no-shows are charged based on the first scheduled time block of the booked ride type.

24+ hours before pickup: No fee.
Within 24 hours of pickup: May be charged the first time block.
After driver dispatch or no-show: Charged the first time block.

Fees vary depending on ride type (Standard, XL, Van, Airport, etc.).

4) Refund Policy

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method.
Refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days.
Completed rides and processing fees may be non-refundable.

5) Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for damages caused by negligence or misconduct.
Additional stops or route changes requested after dispatch are personal arrangements between passenger and driver and are not governed by PSR pricing.

6) Liability Disclaimer

We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are not responsible for items left in vehicles.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected ride.

7) SMS Messaging Program Terms

By providing your phone number and checking the required SMS consent checkbox on our booking form, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Palmetto State Rides, LLC related to your ride, including confirmations, driver updates, arrival notifications, wait-time alerts, cancellations, booking changes, and payment links.

Message frequency varies based on ride activity.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Messages are strictly transactional and only sent in relation to an active ride request. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

8) Privacy & Data Use

We collect only information necessary to operate and support rides, including contact details, ride history, and payment information via secure processors.

Data is owned and controlled by Palmetto State Rides, LLC and protected with appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell, rent, or share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

9) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
